Hearing Aids

The right hearing aid starts with the right assessment.

Dr Yovina doesn’t start with a product. She starts with your hearing results, your ears, and your life: the conversations you want to follow, the places you spend time, and how hands-on you’d like your technology to be. Only then does she recommend a hearing aid, and she fine-tunes it to your prescription using real ear measurements.

How Dr Yovina chooses with you.

As an independent practice, Dr Yovina works with hearing aids from Phonak, Signia, Oticon, and ReSound. Her recommendation is based on what suits you, not on a manufacturer she’s tied to. Together, we’ll carefully consider your hearing results, your everyday life, comfort and handling, connectivity options, and your preferences on appearance.

    FAQs

How much do hearing aids cost?

Your Bespoke Treatment Plan, including a pair of advanced technology hearing aids, starts from £3,500. It includes your hearing aid fitting with real ear measurements, and follow-up appointments to fine-tune your hearing aids as you adjust.

Your hearing aids come with a 5-year manufacturer warranty, and interest-free finance is available. Dr Yovina is happy to talk you through payment options.

How do I know which type of hearing aid is right for me?

During your Signature Hearing Assessment, Dr Yovina will assess your hearing needs, lifestyle, and preferences to determine the best hearing solution for you.

Unlike some large chains that are tied to recommending from one manufacturer, Dr Yovina has access to one of the largest ranges of hearing aids in the Stanmore area, including the latest devices from Phonak, Signia, Oticon, and ReSound. Whether you would like a discreet in-the-ear option or require a high-powered behind-the-ear device, Dr Yovina is here to advise.

How long does it take to adjust to new hearing aids?

Most people experience a normal period of adjusting to their new hearing aids, as their brain adapts to better hearing. Adjustment periods vary from person to person, but most people adapt to new hearing aids within a few weeks with the correct support.

If you’re considering hearing aids, know that Dr Yovina’s support doesn’t end with your initial fitting. The ongoing adjustments, follow-ups, and personalised care you receive will make all the difference. Learn more about how to achieve success with hearing aids.

Can I use hearing aids for my single-sided hearing loss?

Yes. Our CROS (contralateral routing of signal) and BiCROS (bilateral contralateral routing of signal) hearing aids help balance single-sided hearing loss by transmitting sound from your non-hearing ear to your better-hearing ear.

These clever devices improve spatial awareness and speech understanding, making conversation easier in noisy environments.

Please contact Dr Yovina to learn more about how her solutions for single-sided hearing loss could help you.

What happens if my hearing changes over time?

Hearing can change gradually, and Dr Yovina is here to support you throughout your hearing journey. Regular check-ups allow for adjustments and reprogramming of your hearing aids to keep them aligned with your evolving needs, ensuring you continue to hear your best.
